Your website doesn't rank for a single search in Ireland

This review is about what your website brings in, and what stops it. We went through the site, your search rankings and your reviews. One correction first: your listing has you down as Dublin, but your own contact page gives Julianstown, Co. Meath. The main findings: Google shows your site for zero searches anywhere in the country, the whole site is four pages, and the copyright line still says 2022. Your 4.8 stars from 134 Trustpilot reviews is a genuinely strong record that none of this reflects. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

There is nothing here to rank, because there is nowhere to rank it

Across the whole of Ireland, Google shows your site for zero searches. Not a low position, not page ten, zero. That's rare even among the thinnest sites we review. Here's what that looks like against searches homeowners type every month.

What homeowners GooglePeople / monthYour situation

solar panels dublin480You cover Dublin. Nothing ranking.Absent
solar grants ireland480No dedicated grants page exists to catch it.Absent

The reason isn't the work behind the business, it's the website. Four pages exist on the whole site: Home, Solar For Home, News and About Solar PV. None of them are built around a search a homeowner actually types, so Google has nothing to match them against. A four-page site can't catch these searches no matter how good the installs behind it are.

02 The specifics

Four things holding the site back

Missing
Only four pages exist on the whole site
Home, Solar For Home, News and About Solar PV. There's no page for battery storage, EV charging, commercial work, or any county. Each of those is a search Google could be showing you for, and right now none of them exist to be shown.
Dated
The copyright line still says 2022
Four years old, and the clearest visible sign to a visitor that the site hasn't been touched since. It sits at the very bottom of every page.
Missing
Nothing on the site confirms which counties you cover
Your real address, Julianstown, Co. Meath, appears once in the footer. The page itself never lists Meath, Louth, Dublin or anywhere else you actually serve. The directory listing that sends you leads has you filed under Dublin, which doesn't match either.
Missing
No separate pages for battery storage, EV charging or commercial work
All three are real services worth their own searches. None have a page, so none can rank, regardless of how much work you actually do in each area.
Worth noticing

The small items on this list are edits: a line naming your counties, an updated copyright year. The rest are new pages, roughly seven of them. At that point it's a decision between adding them one by one to the current site, or building the site once around everything it's missing.

03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
This is what people see when AK Solar comes up on Google today, next to what it should say. The current text doesn't name a county or the review record.
What Google shows now

What it should show

Solar Panel Installers Meath & Louth | AK Solar
Family-run solar PV installer based in Julianstown, Co. Meath. SEAI and Safe Electric registered. 4.8 stars from 134 Trustpilot reviews.
Fix 2 · The pages the site is missing
Each of these gives Google a page to rank and a visitor a place to land. Ordered by the size of the search it catches.
/solar-panel-installers-ireland/ , 720 searches a month, nothing ranking
/solar-panels-dublin/ , 480 a month, you cover Dublin, nothing built
/solar-grants/ , 480 a month, no dedicated grants page exists
/solar-panels-meath/ , your real home county, nothing built
/battery-storage/ , separate service, no page today
/ev-chargers/ , separate service, no page today
/commercial-solar/ , separate audience, no page today
Fix 3 · Put your service area in writing
Your reviews already show well, three times on the homepage, so this fix is smaller. Add one line under the homepage headline naming exactly where you work, so a visitor and Google both know before they read any further.
Serving Meath, Louth, Dublin and the surrounding counties , add directly under the homepage headline
04 The plan

What to do and when

Start at the top. The first two blocks are edits to the current site. The bottom block is the structural work.

Today
about 20 minutes total
Swap in the new Google listing text from Fix 1.
10 min
Add the service-area line from Fix 3 under the homepage headline.
10 min
This week
about an hour
Update the copyright year and check the rest of the footer for anything else left over from 2022.
15 min
Decide the order to build the seven pages from Fix 2, grants and Dublin first.
30 min
This month
the structural work
Build the seven pages from Fix 2. Installers, Dublin and grants first, they're the biggest searches.
2-3 days
Add a gallery of finished jobs. Town named under each, alongside the reviews you already have.
half day
Decide the platform question first. If you're adding seven pages and a gallery anyway, price both options: building them into the current site, or building a new one around everything it's missing.

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

Here's the sum in its plain parts. The searches in this report, installers, Dublin, grants and companies, add up to around 1,800 people a month typing these words into Google. Right now you capture none of it. You know your average job value and your close rate. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Why sooner beats later

Zero rankings doesn't drift upward on its own. Every month the site stays at four pages is another month where a search like "solar panels dublin", 480 people typing it, finds every competitor except you.
